How to Work Harder in 12th Class from 11th Class

If you are disappointed in your 11th class Abbottabad Board result and would like to improve your performance in 12th class, you must be willing to work harder. Improving your grades in the final year of intermediate is possible if you are truly dedicated and consistent.

It requires developing a strong exam preparation strategy and working diligently to learn the syllabus. It also requires self-evaluation to determine where you went wrong during the 11th class exam preparation.

To help you out, here is a guide to help you work harder for the Abbottabad Board 12th class exams:

Reflect
Before you get started on studying for the upcoming exams, take a moment to step back and reflect. Evaluate the exam preparation strategy you used to prepare for the 11th class exams. Try to identify where it lacked and what you could have done to perform better. For example, should you have practiced more past papers? Did you slack off too much when you should have been studying? Once you identify your weak areas from last time, it will be much easier to develop an effective study plan.

Plan
The next step is to create a strategy. Start by reviewing the latest syllabus for all your subjects. This will help you determine how many chapters you have to cover, etc.. Next, create a study schedule that gives you plenty of time to prepare for all subjects on a daily basis. Also include time to practice the past papers and revise. Make sure that your study timetable is realistic and practical; do not allocate 15 hours to study when you know that it is not feasible.

Learn
Use the textbook that is recommended for the Abbottabad Board exams. The name of the textbook should be indicated in the syllabus. Follow the syllabus to cover all the required chapters. However, rather than passively reading from the textbook, read out loud and make notes while studying. It will lead to better retention of information.

Practice
Obtain the previous five-year 12th class Abbottabad Board solved past papers, and solve all the papers as many times as possible. Solving past papers is the most effective form of exam preparation, as it will give you practice of actual exam questions and help you understand the paper pattern. A lack of past papers practice is likely what caused low performance on the 11th class exams.

Revise
Revise the syllabus frequently, in order to keep the information fresh in your mind. Use a variety of revision techniques such as flashcards, mind maps, and teaching someone else. These revisions techniques will help create more associations in your brain, which will help you recall the information on the final Abbottabad Board exams.

With these steps, you will not only work harder for the 12th class final exams, but you will work smarter. This will surely boost your performance from the previous year exams.
