Upgrade of Sindh Education Boards from 2020
All education boards in
the province of Sindh are expected to receive an upgrade to their curriculum
and examination system in 2020!
Recently, the Sindh High
Court has directed all Sindh education boards to upgrade their curriculum and
examination system, according to the pattern of the Aga Khan University
Examination Board (AKU-EB), from 2020 onwards.
This order is issued in
order to improve the integrity of the Sindh education boards, and to ensure
that each education board in the Sindh province is providing a high-quality
educational and examination experience to students.
Hence, all Sindh
education boards have been instructed to ensure compliance in regards to the
August 2nd order to upgrade the curriculum and examination system according to
the pattern of the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) “in its
letter and spirit from the year 2020 onwards”.
In addition to this,
Justice Salahuddin Panhwar has ordered all the Sindh education boards to submit
details regarding how they will implement this instruction, in order to further
ensure compliance of the instruction to upgrade the educational system,
according to the AKU-EB pattern.
This upgrade of the
Sindh educational boards according to the AKU-EB pattern will be in compliance
with the Federal Policy regarding the curriculum adopted in 2006, which had
been adopted by other three provinces, but not in Sindh.
The implementation of
this court order will be a good step in improving the quality of education and
the integrity of the examination system in the province of Sindh.
